So stinkin' cute!


When my dog was a puppy, she loved the post-bath ritual when I would dry her off, then throw a robe on her and let her do zoomies to show off her squeaky-clean self. Her robe also helped keep her warm because she didn't have a lot of fur, so it was cute and functional. She outgrew her puppy robe and we miss it, but I found this one and I love it! Not only does it help keep her warm (so yeah, it's functional), but she looks ridiculously adorable! She is a chihuahua terrier mix, and she's got this girthy lion-like chest, and the large fits her magnificently in all areas. The size chart was accurate in this sizing for her.

Although it's too small where the velcro hits, it's so cute it used it for an after bath picture. Her front legs slip right out. She's impossible to fit, yet when something does...it perfect!

Soooo cute and functional!!


This robe is really cute on but more important it's functional. The measurements were perfect so it fit my little Lucy just right. Make sure you check the measurements they provide and don't assume. My 9lb Pomeranian measured between a medium and large in this robe. I went for large since its a robe and I wanted it to cover all of her back and tail, and as I said, it fit perfect with the little extra room I was looking for. It's well made with a nice quality thick cotton that is super soft and absorbent. I would highly recommend this robe to anyone.

This robe is not only stylish but practical too! She stayed bundled up for over an hour, taking a nap after her bath. She was totally dry and ready to play! Love it!

Buy a size larger


This is a very cute robe, but it runs small. I measured my dog, who weighs around 15 pounds, and I chose the Medium size, which is what she wears in everything else. It was too snug and I couldn't get the velcro to close. I was very disappointed. I had to send it back and the Large size was out of stock.

Needs some work


As much as I love this for after bath time as it did soak up a decent amount of moisture... the velcro is really far down on their belly. The whole front of the chest is wide open meaning all of our chihuahuas were able to get at least 1 leg out in about 2 minutes. I will have to either put a button on them, a ribbon to tie, or add some more velcro. I purchased 3 of these so I will save a review for after I alter it to work incase anyone else is having the same issue. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one. ***Ok, so after my review on what needs altered, here's a sizing review. I got the small to start and it fit 2 of our 3 girls. The girls have a 12-12 1/2 chest, about 4 lbs (slightly under) and it fit just right other than the front being wide open on their narrow little bodies. I tried the small on our tiny one, she has a much shorter body, and the velcro was far enough down her tummy that it hit her back legs and couldn't close. So I ordered her the X-small. She has about an 11 1/2 chest and is about 3 1/2 lbs and although it is pretty snug, the length works on her. I got our boys the crown robe in a medium (review for that size on boys version).
